Most Subaru transmissions have a vulnerable, thin stamped steel oil pan that is just as and in some cases more vulnerable than your engine oil pan. Plus, if you hit them in the wrong spot you're going nowhere and you're left with a hefty repair bill. Our skid plates will prevent such damage and allow you to focus on your adventure and not worry about puncturing your transmission pan.
