Primitive's transmission skid plate for the Subaru Outback is tough enough for off-road abuse or that random piece of debris in the middle of the freeway. The transmission oil pan is particularly vulnerable, a relatively small hit can cause an expensive repair bill and potentially leave you stranded. This skid plate works with CVT, 5EAT and 6MT Transmissions and improves the aerodynamics and airflow under the car.

These guys have excellent customer service. I asked lots of questions and they were patient with me! I ended up buying the skid plate package and it's a must have if you plan doing any offroading in your Subaru. Install was easy and I was able to install all three peices by myself even though an extra set of hand hands would have made it easier with the front and mid frame skid plates. The included installdirections definitely made it simple to follow.

Great fit! Added the fumoto valve, oil changes are a breeze and the skid plate have already done their part on a couple tough roads.

The Transmission Skid Plate on my '11 Outback 3.6.. Went on 80k miles ago . It was easy to install. . It stays there.. So 5 stars.
