I ordered these for my 2016 Lifted Impreza Hatch. I actually called primitive for help with the complete build and every part they suggested fit as well as you could have hoped for a lift kit. The price and quality is unmatched with the products they sell.
As for the top hat, I’ve had it installed for almost 2 years know and it’s held up great. The stock ones kept snapping from my off-road use and I haven’t had that issue since these have been installed. They fit very well BUT BE WARNED the Impreza spring are very small and some spring compressors will not work at home. I found a mom and pop shop where I live who put them on for me without bringing my car so it was a little cheaper and it made installing the struts much easier.
Now here’s the thing, primitive last I checked will install this stuff for you and I’ve only heard good things about their shop. If you live near them, take it in if you can. The prices are fairly reasonable for what specialized shops actually charge.
Regardless the people at primitive will take care of you and are happy to guide you as you build. I’ve learned so much from them. They do a great job!
