Primitive's Mid-Armor CVT transmission skid plate is tough enough for off-road abuse or that random piece of debris in the middle of the freeway. The transmission oil pan on your CVT is particularly vulnerable, a relatively small hit can cause an expensive repair bill and potentially leave you stranded. It will still fit on the 5MT and 6MT vehicles and offer protection and improve the aerodynamics and airflow under the car.

Fit perfectly and easy to install
Excellent quality and easy to install. I monitored my CVT fluid temperature before and after the install and saw no difference in town or on the highway.
I purchased the skid plate package for my Subaru Outback Wilderness. They got me in quickly and installed them for me. I had a good experience with the shop and they’re very friendly and helpful.
I drove from Portland Oregon to Southern California and lived out of my car for 1.5 months. I went down several 4x4 trails in the Mojave Desert and other places along the way. I definitely would’ve damaged something without these skid plates and I wouldn’t have been able to go all the places I wanted to without them. They made my trip fun and I was confident taking my car down rough roads. I mostly saw jeeps on these roads but my car can handle them fine. It doesn’t have that high of a clearance so these skid plates were a must have. There’s more I’d like to purchase from them down the road. I’d highly recommend these if you’re going off road.
