For rugged protection of the transmission area on all 2010-19 Outbacks, we now offer the tough, 3/16" Aluminum Primitive MID-ARMOR.  This skidplate bolts on with the hardware pack that we provide, and covers the middle portion of your Outback and will protect the transmission, whether you are rocking a CVT, a 5-EAT-auto trans, or even the 6MT manual trans.  Bolts on in minutes, no drilling required.
