These Light pod mounting rings kits come with specialized hardware that allow you to make adjustments to your auxiliary lights to get them aimed how you need them to be.
The Light pod mounting rings are made for the specific size lenses:
• The PIAA 8″ Ring is a 2-piece Thermoformed plastic “clamshell” ring that is made to hold PIAA 80 racing and RS800 lenses, others lenses may fit but have not been confirmed.
• The PIAA 7″ Ring is also 2-piece Thermoformed plastic “clamshell” ring that is made to hold PIAA 580, 80xt and 80 pro lenses but we have successfully used them to mount Hella 500 (not FF) and IPF 968 lenses into pods, This is very popular for “Safari Porsche 911″ builds.
• The Primitive 5” aluminum mounting ring is a one piece formed aluminum ring that is specifically made for use with PIAA 540 lenses. (Very Limited Supply)
