On the world's fastest racetracks, on the street, on the toughest outback terrain there is. When it comes to spring design and durability, King Springs knows neither compromise nor second best.... these are the cornerstones of our technology, and the reasons why King Springs are leaders in the replacement and performance automotive spring market. Kings Springs exclusively use high quality, high stress X5K spring steel. This new generation steel allows King Springs to further improve many of their existing designs by reducing the amount of steel required in a spring, making it substantially lighter (by approximately 30%) and reducing the solid height therefore increasing travel. Being of particular benefit at all top levels of Motorsport, this new high stress material was introduced to the leading v8 super car teams (inc HRT, FPR & HSV) in early 2007 giving a hugely successful endorsement of its characteristics & proven durability. Although considerably expensive, King Springs are progressively introducing this new high stress steel to their passenger car and 4wd designs which benefit the most at no extra cost to the consumer.
King is the master of progressive rate coils (they have the ability to wind decreasing diameter wire) which allows great over-the-road highway comfort, but the increased spring rates under load to handle the corners more firmly than stock. PERFECT for the highway drive out, then dirt roads when camping/fishing, cruising rough back roads, deep snow, and even off-roading.

Hi 2006 Outback 25i owner, 2″ of lift is not too realistic for that car. We find frequent front CV axle failures for cars lifted 1.5″ or more. The CV angles become too great and the CV’s are already old. WHEN you do replace the front CV axles, only get the factory REMANUFACTURED ones from […]
” The setup is fantastic Paul, it feels like a totally different car. Thanks so much for the guidance and help. Regards, -Ben ” Ben ordered KYB struts (with up-rated rear struts) and paired with the King Raised Springs on his ’06 OBXT and appears to love it.
” Hey, I just wanted to say that I received the kit and got everything installed. Everything was spot-on and fit up perfectly. I loved how each different stage of the install had its own separate set of instructions, parts list, and photos. It was really nice to never second guess which hardware to use […]

Hi Paul, Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with the triple armour skid plates and brushbar on our 2012 Outback. Have some Lightforce auxiliary lights on it which makes the driving in our long dark winters up here in the Yukon much safer and enjoyable, definitely have helped spot the wildlife, and it’s nice having the extra protection.
