Hi 2006 Outback 25i owner,

Hi 2006 Outback 25i owner,
” The setup is fantastic Paul, it feels like a totally different car. Thanks so much for the guidance and help. Regards, -Ben ”
Ben ordered KYB struts (with up-rated rear struts) and paired with the King Raised Springs on his ’06 OBXT and appears to love it.
” Hey, I just wanted to say that I received the kit and got everything installed. Everything was spot-on and fit up perfectly. I loved how each different stage of the install had its own separate set of instructions, parts list, and photos. It was really nice to never second guess which hardware to use or what parts went where. Install was smooth sailing. Thank you so much for putting the extra time and effort to get such a great product on the market! ” -Eli purchased 2″ Lift Kit 3/19

Re: King STD height springs and Koni Shocks – 2008 WRX
HOLY CRAP! I am so unbelievably impressed with them. They feel great for the 4 days worth of driving I have on them now. The suspension feels more articulate and I am fully pleased with the front and rear spring rate. The ride is sporty yet supple and comfortable with a softer Koni setting, but can still feel tight and aggressive if I crank the Koni’s up. Granted, I couldn’t care less about that! Best of all, my wife is willing to ride in the WRX again! Continue reading →

Paul–
I have been driving on the new suspension setup more than two months and I have to tell you that I am very glad that I made the purchase of the raised height King Springs and that I got the alternative KYB struts for the rear of my 2008 Outback. Continue reading →
Hi Paul,
Hey finally got my parts installed! They make the car look great! Also it feels great on the road, maybe not as stiff as before for tight corners but is amazing, love it so much. I am looking forward to hitting the dirt with my car now 🙂 Continue reading →
We put King Springs on KYB Struts in our car (GC Body Impreza -turbo) last Spring. [standard height springs/GR2 struts] ..First event was ice cross , second overall , next Trail of the Gnu rally (real fast) 2nd overall , finished the season with a third at Totem rally , good enough for 2 nd overall in the BCRally Championship . The 1st place car was running the same suspension … I am over 70 so not as quick as I use to be but this set up makes me look good .. It has no vices , very predictable.

We are real pleased with the guidance we got from Paul with this set up . The car has lots of other Primitive parts as a result and all are top shelf ..

We get asked this question pretty often and it’s not as simple as it would seem, Subaru’s don’t have very large wheel openings and even so the size of the wheel opening often isn’t even the limiting factor.
A lot of our customers are new to Subaru ownership having switched from bigger SUV’s or Trucks to Subaru’s because they have better fuel economy and are just simply more comfortable to drive but still have off road capability. Subaru has built its brand around their symmetrical All Wheel Drive system which performs very well in most conditions, it’s perfectly suited for snow, gravel, mud or sand but when trails get deeper and the rocks get taller Subaru’s just don’t have the clearance needed to make it through that washout or water crossing. We don’t want you to have to cut your adventure short or feel like you’re going to do damage to your vehicle so by popular demand we’ve worked continuously to develop products to lift your car without degrading the on road performance.
