On the world's fastest racetracks, on the street, on the toughest outback terrain there is. When it comes to spring design and durability, King Springs knows neither compromise nor second best.... these are the cornerstones of our technology, and the reasons why King Springs are leaders in the replacement and performance automotive spring market. Kings Springs exclusively use high quality, high stress X5K spring steel. This new generation steel allows King Springs to further improve many of their existing designs by reducing the amount of steel required in a spring, making it substantially lighter (by approximately 30%) and reducing the solid height therefore increasing travel. Being of particular benefit at all top levels of Motorsport, this new high stress material was introduced to the leading v8 super car teams (inc HRT, FPR & HSV) in early 2007 giving a hugely successful endorsement of its characteristics & proven durability. Although considerably expensive, King Springs are progressively introducing this new high stress steel to their passenger car and 4wd designs which benefit the most at no extra cost to the consumer.
King is the master of progressive rate coils (they have the ability to wind decreasing diameter wire) which allows great over-the-road highway comfort, but the increased spring rates under load to handle the corners more firmly than stock. PERFECT for the highway drive out, then dirt roads when camping/fishing, cruising rough back roads, deep snow, and even off-roading. Most raising springs lift about 1.5" allowing for less bottoming out, steeper approaches, deeper ruts, and running larger diameter tires!

February 14th, 2016 Hi Paul, Just wanted to let you know how happy we are with the triple armour skid plates and brushbar on our 2012 Outback. Have some Lightforce auxiliary lights on it which makes the driving in our long dark winters up here in the Yukon much safer and enjoyable, definitely have helped spot the wildlife, and it’s nice having […]
From: “Chris” Re: King STD height springs and Koni Shocks – 2008 WRX HOLY CRAP! I am so unbelievably impressed with them. They feel great for the 4 days worth of driving I have on them now. The suspension feels more articulate and I am fully pleased with the front and rear spring rate. The ride […]

We get asked this question pretty often and it’s not as simple as it would seem, Subaru’s don’t have very large wheel openings and even so the size of the wheel opening often isn’t even the limiting factor. Modern Subaru’s all have Mcpherson strut front suspension and the older ones have both Mcpherson strut front […]
A lot of our customers are new to Subaru ownership having switched from bigger SUV’s or Trucks to Subaru’s because they have better fuel economy and are just simply more comfortable to drive but still have off road capability. Subaru has built its brand around their symmetrical All Wheel Drive system which performs very […]
